The Manhattan Declaration "unfolds" and "makes clear" the meaning of REAL HUMAN RIGHTS. Have you signed on?

1) the profound, inherent, and equal dignity of every human being as a creature fashioned in the very image of God, possessing inherent rights of equal dignity and life;

2) marriage as a conjugal union of man and woman, ordained by God from the creation, and historically understood by believers and non-believers alike, to be the most basic institution in society and;

3) religious liberty, which is grounded in the character of God, the example of Christ, and the inherent freedom and dignity of human beings created in the divine image, grounded in Holy Scripture, in natural human reason (which is itself, in our view, the gift of a beneficent God), and in the very nature of the human person.

In the past 40 years the so-called "progressives" have launched a campaign to convince the Silent Majority that those beliefs we hold as "self-evident" are old fashioned, out-of-date and some sort extremism from the right-wing conservative value folks. Nothing could be farther from the truth, as the Manhattan Declaration points out. These principles are the values we grew up with, and are proven in our history, and are part of the fabric of our society.

Let's review a few things that have just happened rece3ntly ...

.. The Democrats jammed a healthcare bill down the throats of the American people that cuts Medicare by $500 billion, raises taxes by $400 to $500 million and increases insurance premiums all while using your tax dollars to pay for abortions.

I don't know about you .. but watching them cut backroom deal after backroom deal was enough to make you sick. What makes Nebraska more special than Oklahoma? .. or Colorado? .. Or Kansas?

And then the American Airliner fiasco? Even more scary was knowing this country is trusting Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano to run the department! First response - everything is A-OK? .. then it wasn't, and she conceded that the aviation security system failed.

Remember right after the inauguration, it was President Obama who no longer wanted to acknowledge the "global war on terror" and referred to terrorist acts as "man-made disasters"? This man we call President is more inept than Jimmy Carter was! What a remarkable lack of understanding of the threats America faces!

Just wait and see what these DEMS do with the healthcare bill .. it will be a worse disaster! When all these folks "reconcile the bills" I bet it will be a very costly deal!

NOT TO WORRY ... all the Democrats are in for a big surprise in 2010 and 2012 ... we'll stop the radical Obama agenda one way .. or the other!.. and his two side-kicks Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi too!
